Vineyard & Wine Region Information
Primitivo is the same grape as Zinfandel, which is very popular in the US, albeit quite expensive for a good one, for which you would reasonably expect to pay upwards of £20 a bottle. We find Italian Primitivo to be so similar to a good US Zinfandel that it's tricky to tell them apart at a blind tasting, and given the price of Italian Primitivo, it offers considerably better value for money!
