Charles Smith Washington State
In 2006, Charles Smith created Charles Smith Wines: The Modernist Project, which centres around the trend that most people generally consume wine without delay. The intent is to create wines to be enjoyed now, but with typicity of variety (Merlot that tastes like Merlot) and true to the place of origin. The wines are full of flavour, balanced, and approachable.
Contents of Case:
• 1 x Band of Roses Pinot Gris Rosé - Each of us discovers music in our own way, and the same is true for wine. Inspired by the way music can transform the way we feel, this dry Rosé plays a vibrant and floral melody that’ll get the party started. Just chill the bottle and chill out with your latest playlist, your favourite guest list, or both. Pure, vibrant, fresh, penetrating perfume giving way to lilac, guava, tangerine, and passion fruit. Delivered on a silky palate, this Rosé has got the beat! Pairs well with an avocado breakfast burrito, goat cheese & arugula salad.
• 1 x Kung Fu Girl Riesling - It takes an unconventional winemaker to make a totally unexpected dry Riesling. One night, Charles was eating Chinese takeout and watching a fight scene in a notorious martial arts film when he had an idea: a killer white wine made to be paired with Asian food. Just like that, Kung Fu Girl was born. White peach, mandarin orange and apricot are delivered with a core of minerality that makes this dry Riesling shimmer with energy and freshness. Another epic vintage of Kung Fu Girl. Pairs well with Spicy ramen, Sriracha pork tacos and Chinese takeout.
