Vineyard & Wine Region Information
The vineyard was founded in 1905 by Paul Buisse's grandfather Eugene, who originally sold table wine by the barrel, however, when his son Jean took over he completely changed their wine producing philosophy, and started producing better quality wines sold in returnable glass bottles. After 10 years working with his father, Paul Buisse took over the family business and continued the progress of his ancestors until passing the baton to the Chainier family who now run the winery with the same passion imparted by the family Buisse.
