Vineyard & Wine Region Information

The estate at Givry has been producing wine, in the same family, since the 17th Century. It is now run by Michel Sarrazin and his two sons, Guy and Jean Yves, who have elevated it's status and the quality of its wines to the exceptional level which they have today. The estate is guided by their phylosophy of 'lutte raisonée' (reasoned fight) which means that they will allow the grapes to grow as organically as possible, without putting them in jeopardy from pests and diseases.

The care that they put into their wine production and the choice of a particular French oak cask to mature it in, all adds to the quality and soft fruitiness of this lovely wine.
