A zingy refreshing dry white wine with gooseberry, herbs, melon and lime citrus notes on the nose and the palate. Easy drinking, and pairs well with fish, especially salmon and tuna, goats cheese and white meats.

The label Gravel and Loam comes from the type of soil found on the estate. This type of gravelly soil greatly contributes to the elegant style of this wine, as the small stones in the soil soak up the heat from the sun during the day, and then they radiate this heat during the cooler Marlborough nights.  This keeps the vines warm and it means that the grapes can stay on the vines for longer, thus allowing more concentrated flavours to build up in the fruit.

Gravel & Liam Sauvignon

My wife drinks Sauvignon Blanc and was given a bottle of this wine and will now only drink this one. I’m not saying she is a wino but she does know her wine

Excellent

I've had this wine before and consider it the best value, you'd have to pay a lot more to get a Better Sauvignon Blanc. I found the website(s) difficult to get around, but was very impressed with the packaging. I reckon it would survive an earthquake !
