A rich, intense, powerful medium bodied red wine from Portugal’s Dão Valley with red currant, strawberry, blueberry, oak and violet notes on the nose and the palate. Pair with chicken, pork, lamb, charcuterie or medium and mature cheeses.

M.O.B. stands for the three winemakers behind this wine, Quinta de La Rosa’s winemaker and owner of Quinta de Poeira Jorge Moreira, Quinta de Vale Meao’s Francisco Olazabal and Passadouro winemaker and co-owner of Wine and Soul’s Jorge Serôdio Borges.
Made in the Dão Valley, and working with indigenous grape varieties including some old vine Baga, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Bical, Encruzado, Jaen and Tinta Roriz. M.O.B. wines are made using low yielding vines and unlike the common practice in the Douro, the grapes are fermented separately and blended later for both the red and white.
