Moncaro Atavico Rosso Piceno DOC Superiore
A smooth, soft, juicy, medium-bodied, organic, low sulphite red wine made from the native Italian Montepulciano and Sangiovese grape varieties. Very fruity, with pronounced raspberry and black cherry notes on the nose and the palate with a hint of white pepper on the finish. Easy drinking, and paris well with red or white meats, white fish and medium to mature cheeses.

Vineyard & Wine Region Information
The Moncaro vineyards began converting to organic production in 1980 and are keen to employ sustainable and low environmental impact agricultural practices in the production of their wines. This wine has very low free sulphite levels, so can be appreciated by those with the most heightened sensitivity to free sulphites.
