This is a lovely fresh zingy sparkler made by a Champagne producer using the traditional method, they buy in suitable base wines from elsewhere in France Ugni Blanc, Barboulenc and Chenin Blanc as well as a bit of Chardonnay then allow the wine to age in bottle on its lees for up to 9 months. Easy drinking and great value it makes the ideal party wine. Aromas which are full and rich on the nose, with some yeasty aromas of toasted bread and pastry. Ideal celebration wine, as an aperitif, with fish, salads and white meats.

Philippe Hérard are situated just south of Champagne. They purchase base wines from a wide variety of French regions in order to capture the specific flavours and profiles desired. The impact of different microclimates, soil types and topography creates a vast palette of flavours for them to manipulate and blend.
