Contents of Case:
1 x Charles Smith Eve - Eve is pure, tempting, and undeniably Washington State. With fresh, fruity flavours and a crisp, bright mouthfeel reminiscent of Washington State’s famous apples, this dry Chardonnay has been winning awards ever since its grapes left the garden. True to Chardonnay. Dry, creamy and smooth, with a multitude of flavours and aromas. Asian pears, Honey Crisp apple, and lemon curd with minerality that takes this heavenly wine to the next level. Pairs well with garlic fries, grilled halibut with pineapple salsa.
1 x Delaire Graff - A rich, complex, full-bodied white wine with almond blossom, white peach, honey and vanilla notes. Easy drinking and pairs well with hors d'oeuvres, soft cheeses, white meats, fish and shellfish.
1 x Domain des Deux Roches Saint-Véran - A multi award winning rich, full-bodied dry white wine from Burgundy. Orange blossom, white peach and pear notes on the nose; citrus lemon, golden apple, white peach and an earthy mineral note on the palate, followed by a long finish. Pair with white meats, charcuterie or medium mature cheeses.
1 x Dog Point - Dog Point’s Chardonnay has a dainty nose with white peach, honey, almond paste, ginger and zesty orange citrus, complemented by stuck-match complexity and fresh bread. Tight without being lean, this has delicious acidity and an intense citrus-driven palate. An intensely flavoured yet youthful and lively vintage for Dog Point Chardonnay. Pairs well with scallops, white fish and BBQ pork.
1 x Nugan Estate Drover’s Hut - Pale straw with youthful greenish hues. Lifted aromas of nectarine and peach with mixed spice and toasty notes. On the palate a rich full flavoured style of stone fruits and toast complimented by a cleansing crisp acid finish. The fruit is picked at night to preserve a beautiful crisp flavour and there is minimal wood treatment to keep the Chardonnay bright and fruity. There is stony, almost Chablis like hint of minerality on the finish, which lingers with very good tenacity and focus.
1 x Rickety Bridge - Citrus with nutty nuances, hints of orange blossom and subtle oak spice on the nose. The rich and structured palate shows honey and tropical fruit with hints of white flowers, caramel, spice and minerality which linger on the long creamy finish.
