Made by the world famous Royal Tokaji wine house this beautiful dry white wine has waxy green apple, hazelnut and sweet spice aromas that lead into a palate of baked apple and background notes of cream. There is an incredibly refreshing, almost tart acidity and delightful pink grapefruit notes on the finish.
Co-founded in 1990 by wine writer Hugh Johnson, the Royal Tokaji Company has quickly become one of the most important wineries in Tokaji. Its success has played a large role in the restoration of the region’s reputation for fine wines after years of slow decline under communist rule. From the outset, Royal Tokaji focused on producing single-vineyard wines, made from the first growth vineyards of Mezes Maly, Nyulaszo, St Tamas and Betsek.
