Pale yellow with golden hints in appearance, the nose has aromas of ripened yellow fruit and flower blossom. Fresh and rich with good minerality and concentration, as well as poise and persistence on the palate. Astrong pair with fish and fresh or medium aged cheese. Also a great match with gentle spice, like curry leaves, lime and chilli, which let the citrus freshness shine through.
Torri Cantine was originally a cooperative started in 1966, but has since become a small private estate with around 25 hectares of mature vines. They have sites dotted through the foothills below the impressive Gran Sasso mountain, lying between 100 and 300 metres above sea level.
The vineyards are fully converted to organic wine production.
