Description

Wild Wave is a high juice, full-bodied, cider with a refreshing balance thanks to its unique blend of bittersweet and dessert apples. Inspired by a walk on Southwold beach, the vision was to create a premium cider made entirely from English apples, with a taste so fresh and fruity, it would feel like a refreshing splash in the face. Our mini-kegs contain around eight pints, or five litres, of delicious cider; making them perfect for parties, barbecues, or celebratory gatherings. They are ready to use immediately after chilling, and if securely sealed after each use, will last up to four days once opened.

Fermenting with champagne and wine yeasts creates a bright, sparkling cider with flavours and aromas of fresh apples, mango, and tropical fruit. Elegantly balanced with a medium-dry-finish, it is to be served at North Sea temperatures.

Adnams is well-known for brewing beer and making spirits and has enjoyed a great reputation for wine for many years; but we had never a made cider before In Wild Wave's unique blend of apples, we were looking for depth of flavour, but also additional tannins which add body and that refreshing, astringent finish you would get from a dry white wine. This gives a cider both drinkability and a versatility akin to wine in terms of food pairing. We worked alongside Gloucestershire cider maker Rod Clifford to produce just the right blend of bittersweet and dessert apples.

Each mini keg is 5L and contains 8 pints.
