Brewed specially to celebrate the UK launch of Guy Ritchie’s film, The Covenant, this is the perfect all weather beer. A rich and dry beer, dry hopped with Citra, Centennial and Chinook, this IPA has powerful aromas of grapefruit and pine. Pale gold in colour and dry with a lingering resinous bitterness.

OLD WORLD TRADITIONS.

NEW WORLD INGREDIENTS.

Spilling over the rolling hills of the Wiltshire and Dorset countryside, Gritchie Brewing Company is a ‘beer farm’ located on the Ashcombe Estate near Shaftesbury. Drawing from the land that surrounds the farm, our 20BBL brewhouse sits within rustic stone-built barns, overlooking expansive fields where our own Maris Otter barley is grown for malting and beer production.

Our 40BBL fermenters and three 5BBL fermenters sit side by side, named after archangels. These vessels represent the angelic and human virtues of poetic simplicity, harmony and peace, deep thought, warmth and companionship and interconnectedness; virtues that bind us together as we share in the time-honoured tradition of enjoying beer in good company. Our story harks back to the first fermentation when the guardian angels gathered over a clay vat and proclaimed, ’It is good’. In truth, there are no shortcuts when it comes to learning the science of beer making. Through the art of continuous improvement, we strive to inject mystery, wonder and modern sensibilities into a traditional British drink. Our beer isn’t pretentious. It’s made for conversation in a pub, connection around a fire and companionship around a table. This is our legacy. This is our lore. This is Beer As It Should Be.

SUSTAINABILITY

As a brewery and working farm, we are constantly working towards improving our sustainability.  Day by day we seek new ways to ensure that our beer and legacy can be enjoyed for generations to come. From field to glass, we are taking steps to achieve this goal.

We utilise environmentally friendly products including papertape, EcoFlo biodegradable packaging foam that dissolves in water for our online shop orders and reusable cups at events and festivals. We grow our own barley which is used in our beers, rely on our own natural water source and feed the spent grain to our happy cows.

WE DON’T WASTE A GRAIN SO YOU WON’T WASTE A DROP.
