Adnams Explorer captures the spirit of discovery by using American hops such as Chinook. Inspired by one of his trips to the United States, Master Brewer, Fergus Fitzgerald wanted to create a blonde beer using American hops from the Yakima Valley in Washington State. It's compass design on a wood-washed background reflects its American inspired recipe and the beach huts of our hometown of Southwold, from where we set off to explore the world.
Adnams has a long and colourful history. We're proud of our Southwold roots, which help give us the strength and confidence to grow and evolve, keeping us fresh and innovative.
Beer has been brewed on the same site in Southwold for at least 670 years. Our long history gives us firm foundations and we look forward to an exciting and sustainable future.
