Tamaral is a winery founded by the Santiago Torio family in 1997 in Penafiel, on the Golden Mile of Ribera del Duero. Sacrifice, hard work and passion were, are and will be the essence of the wines of our winery and provide them a personal and unique personality.

Rioja may be the most famous region in Spain, but Ribero del Duero is no slouch. These classic wines are made mostly from the grape, Tempranillo. Ribero del Duero wines are known for being strong, dark coloured wines filled with dark fruit, tobacco and vanilla flavours.
