Bright cherry red colour with gentle hints of cinnamon and vanilla on the nose. Ample structure with good length and gentle tannins.
Excellent with roast beef or slow roasted aubergine dishes.
Fruit is picked from the 30 year old vines and vinified in stainless steel tanks. The wine spends some time in oak before being bottled.
The former agricultural plot included old vines as part of the landscape and has been transformed by the Geromin family. Based just 17km from Saint Emilion on the clay and limestone Coubeyrac plateau, this 11 hectare property is run by two sisters, Audrey and Marion Geromin.
