Domaine Berthet Rayne Chateauneuf du Pape AOC

A stunning Châteauneuf wine which is full of powerful velvety dark fruit, supported by ripe tannin and hints of coffee and spice. Made in an impressive quasi-modern style, it exhibits a dark ruby/purple colour, full body and rich, concentrated notes of black cherries and cassis. The powerful young fruit acquire rich, toasty flavours which develop into a wine of considerable finesse and elegance. The tannin structure remains present and complex, which ensures that our wines have enormous ageing potential.

Run by Christian Berthet Rayne, this estate is based in the village of Courthezon, next to Beaucastel, and was certified organic in 2007. They create stunning Châteauneuf that has met with considerable critical acclaim.
