Moving up on the Chablis ladder, this more complex bottle is a mineral premier cru with typical Chablis aromas of citrus and peaches. Very subtle on the palate with a long finish, this is a wine that expresses the great quality of its specific terroir. The palate is soft and round, with fruity aroma of citrus with a nose of fresh grass, white flowers, citrus and mineral. Pairs well with seafood or veggie starter.
Brothers Nicolas and Vincent Laroche are the fifth generation to run this 21 hectare estate. All of the vines are grown on the original Chablis subsoil of Kimmeridgian limestone and the fruit is harvested by hand and vinified in stainless steel without any use of oak, creating good, weighty Chablis that has buttery notes backed by steely minerality.
