Les Argelieres Oak Aged Chardonnay

A rich, buttery, full-bodied dry white wine from France, with a hint of acidity and notes of white peach and vanilla on the nose and the palate. Easy drinking and pairs superbly with pork, chicken and fish dishes, and also strong cheese. 

As this is an IGP wine from the Pays d'Oc region of southern France, the conditions are ideal for growing many international grape varieties, such as Chardonnay. Here, many producers veer away from the strict regional rules about which grapes they can use, and instead choose the varieties which they believe will make the best wines given the terroir and prevailing climatic conditions. This is a great example of a well balanced and fruity Chardonnay.
