After pressing the dried grapes from which Amarone is made, Valpolicella Ripassa wine is passed over the still warm skins from the Amarone fermentation. It then goes through a second alcoholic fermentation, which increases the alcohol content and creates a wine with a deeper aromas and flavours.

Monte del Frà is located in the heart of the Custoza area, on the east side of Lake Garda and only 15 Km away from the centre of Verona. It was founded by brothers Eligio and Claudio Bonomo in 1958.
