A vibrant English sparkling rosé bursting with ripe red fruit notes. The perfect sparkling wine to be enjoyed all year round. Wild strawberries, ripe raspberries and a touch of white blossom layered with notes of honeysuckle.

Delicate rose pink in colour with fragrant aromas of wild strawberries, white peach and rose petals. A vibrant, expressive palate displaying notes of ripe red fruits, honeysuckle and white blossom. Beautifully balanced with a bright seam of acidity, a fine persistent mousse and a long, yet elegant length. A perfect apéritif to be enjoyed all year round.

Crafted from the finest handpicked Pinot Noir grapes grown at our Roman Villa vineyard. The fruit destined for our sparkling rosé is whole-bunch pressed and partially fermented in the finest French oak casks followed by a generous lees-ageing of 36 months in bottle. A splash of Pinot Précoce is added prior to release imparting an attractive pale pink hue and ripe red fruit characteristics on this delicious wine.

The 2016 growing season took a little time to really get going but by mid-July things had picked up and the sunshine continued almost unabated until harvest. The small but perfectly formed bunches were allowed to bask in a long Indian summer and achieve full ripeness with excellent phenolics – the building blocks for some great wines. By harvest time, the fruit was ripe with perfect acids and we could be incredibly exact on picking dates.

Our vineyards span the width of the beautiful county of Sussex in the South of England. In these picture-perfect locations we are very fortunate to have a variety of soil types giving us a multitude of stylistic elements to play with when blending our classic English sparkling wines.

Our oldest vines were planted in 2006 at our home vineyard located close to the village of Tillington to the West of Petworth. We have a full-time vineyard team who manage our estates and use their wealth of knowledge and experience to ensure we produce the best possible fruit for our wines in every growing season. They are the unsung heroes behind our award-winning vintage sparkling wines.

Situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park, our vineyards are a natural habitat for an extraordinary collection of wildflowers, deer, hare, birds and so much more. Minimising our environmental impact and maximising conservation and biodiversity lies at the core of everything that we do. We have enormous respect for our beautiful surroundings and aim to protect our environment as best we can and in every way possible.
